**Update - 16 months later ** We purchased another SafeRest cover just a couple months after our first purchase so we would have an extra for those middle of the night seizures. These covers have been an absolute dream. I throw them in the washing machine on a normal cycle and they go straight in the dryer and they come out looking brand new. We have never had any leaks. Our brand new mattress has maintained its lovely white color even after a full year and a half of seizure activity. When my parents bought their new bed I immediately recommended a SafeRest cover to protect the mattress from my Dad's sweatiness while he sleeps. The very best thing about these covers is no one knows there IS a cover on our bed. There is no crinkly sounds or rubber feeling. My husband doesn't feel like he is sleeping on a hospital bed cover and I don't need to worry that I'm one seizure away from ruining a $2,000 mattress. I'm an epileptic and during a seizure accidents happen. I was beyond tired of worrying about our brand new mattress, so I purchased the best rated cover I could find. All I can say is that it works. Our mattress has remained spotless and I have the peace of mind knowing after a seizure I don't need to rush to rescue soiled bedding.
