I have a 145# Bullmastiff. Enough said when it comes to trying to find any dog sweater or coat that will fit him. While this coat doesn't fit him perfectly, I can't fault the coat. It covers most of his back, the collar doesn't reach his neck, but it does fit around his body and the Velcro closes nicely, keeping the coat nice & snug. All in all I feel it will keep him warm and hey, I'm happy I found a coat that kinda fits my dog that is reasonably priced. Bullmastiffs don't have a natural, double coat & don't tolerate cold temperatures well. This coat has warm fleece on the inside & the outside is waterproof. 2/21/16 Update. This coat didn't hold up too well. I put the leash through the opening close to the collar, and when I pulled the leash hard while my dog was moving in the opposite direction, the coat ripped. The velcro that secured the front part across his chest tore and wouldn't stay attached, so I had to sew both areas that ripped. As I stated, I have a large, powerful dog so I have to take that into consideration. I still think it's a good dog coat, and probably will hold up with a smaller dog. Even though it doesn't look as nice as it did before my sewing repairs, I still used it.
