NEVER EVER EVER EVER glue a rhinestone with Super or Crazy glue
I've searched far and wide for a cement that will not yellow when dry or with age to restore vintage rhinestone jewelry. THIS is it...There is nothing else that 1) enables you to put just the right amount of glue around the edges of the smallest (and largest) cup to secure a replacement rhinestone, and 2) dries clear if left alone and does not yellow or discolor in any way with age - I still have some vintage rhinestone jewelry that I restored back in the 1980s, and they're still gorgeous! NEVER EVER EVER EVER glue a rhinestone with Super or Crazy glue. That type of glue will ruin the finish on the rhinestone. and you'll be left with a cloudy stone that you can't get out without a chisel and a hammer, LOL! Super or Crazy Glues are Perfect for gluing opaque stones like Pearls, Milk Glass, etc. The Gel version of Super Glue is what I find the easiest and best to use for pearls and opaque stones. Well, I've digressed, as usual. But I feel obligated to help the folks out there who might be trying to restore vintage jewelry and haven't been given any info. This listing might just be a good place to ask your questions about vintage jewelry restoration! Ask away!
