This truly saved my life. Please, please buy this!!!
I am truly at a loss for words. I NEVER post Amazon product reviews, but I had to this time around. Like the title says, this little Amazon product truly saved my life. Instead of telling my story, I'll let the police report tell the story for me; I redacted personal details that reveal my identity.
If you're doubting whether or not to buy this product, or something similar, stop. Just do yourself and your loved ones a favor and buy this. I hope you never have to use it, and I'm lucky to have made it out alive. Search and Rescue told me that the other 5 attempted rescues that happened before, did not end successfully.

LOCATION: Mt. Baldy Bowl Trail , Mt Baldy Ca
VICTIM(S): NAME REDACTED, AGE REDACTED year old male
Summary
On Thursday, San Bernardino Sheriff's Department was contacted by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center (AFRCC) in reference to the activation of a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) in Mt. Baldy. It was determined the device was registered to NAME REDACTED, who had activated the emergency beacon after he became lost. San Bernardino County Aviation Division was initially dispatched to the location . Pilot, Deputy Ryan Peppler and Tactical Flight Officer, Larry Scott were successful in locating him based upon the information provided by the AFRCC. He was able to communicate with the flight crew using the public address system and flashlight. Due to extreme winds, the flight crew was unable to perform a hoist rescue and the West Valley Search and Rescue Team (WVSAR) was activated along with searchers from other San Bernardino County Sheriff teams.
At about 2:00 a.m., searchers were able to reach him at the 8,000 ft level of Mt. Baldy. During assessment, it was learned he had minor injuries to his wrist and ankle from a minor fall. Search teams provided basic care to him and successfully escorted him down the mountain. He was released from the scene after an evaluation by fire personnel.
