This stuff is my holy grail conditioner. I've been natural for about 7 years now. I guess if I had to categorize my hair I would say it's a 4A? I've never done a porosity test, but My hair growth had stalled due to dryness and breakage. My hair just stopped responding to the deep conditioner I had been using, Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque. It seemed like it was just sitting on top of my hair and not truly penetrating the hair shaft. I decided to give this a try while in Target one day, and I have never gone back to anything else. This leaves my hair feeling soft, moisturized, shiny, and manageable. Even though it is not as thick and emollient as other DCs, it truly penetrates my hair shaft and provides lasting moisture for me. I know that there are ingredient purists out there who may not like a couple of the ingredients, but all I can say is this works for me. My hair hasn't felt and looked this good in a long time, and is back on a growing trend again.
