We recently sold our SUV and bought a smaller crossover with less cargo space. Now, on trips, we are packed to the ceiling with luggage. So, we decided to buy a luggage bag for the roof. We shopped online, read reviews and found Roofbag.com. We bought the larger of the 2 bags roofbag offers for a family trip to the beach, and it worked great. This bag is well made out of thick, high-quality materials, and came with good instructions for mounting to the roof. The zipper, seams, straps, etc. are all of the highest quality. We drove thru the worst rainstorm I have ever seen, and I told my wife "If this thing doesn't leak after all this rain, I am going to write a glowing review and buy stock in roofbag.com!" Well, there wasn't a drop of water in the roofbag, and it held up great. I haven't bought stock yet, but I am making good on my pledge to write them a review. This product is a high-quality, American-made (San Diego, CA) product, and I can definitively confirm that IT IS 100% WATERPROOF! It came with straps to secure to roof and a non-slip padded mat to go under it. (Many others require you to buy those items separately.) Hope you read my review and buy a roofbag.
