This would make a PERFECT gift for a friend! I intended it for my own kids, and here's why I won't give a 5-star review: It's my mistake for not reading things over more carefully. I thought I had ordered the straw style, not the sippy lid (I wanted something that didn't have to be tilted up), and I also got the impression because of the photos that this was sold as a 5-piece set, but it is sold individually. I'm disappointed, but it really does seem to be quality, so I don't think the price was too high. It is an investment for me to purchase quality items - I'm trying to get away from plastics, so stainless steel seemed the best durable and safe option for an upgrade - I will most likely give this one as a gift and purchase two others as straw lids. It also seems that since last I checked, they have new patterns in stock. I'm giving a 4-star review because although it wasn't quite what I expected, if I had been planning all along to buy as a gift, it would have been PERFECT.
