I like the soft material, the color is very true to how it looks in the picture , I myself got orange. I bought another one before this and it looked like a light orange but was highlighter hot orange, so it was nice it looked like the color in the picture. See picture attached to this review. I’ve had this now for about three months and I’ve washed it two times there is one small hole along the seam line already, but I sewed it up and honestly I think for the price this is still a decent deal, because I’ve had to be really rough on this between my dog and how much I have to stretch it to fit my couch I’d say one small hole is OK and was easy to sew up. I have a mid century modern style couch it is very long, with a short back and short arms , it’s nearly impossible to find a cover to fit, but the extra large I got works pretty well the arms line up it’s just I have a ton of extra material to stuff in. Also the little foam pieces that you get to not really do anything but I took someone else’s advice in a review and got from the dollar store a large pool noodle and when I cut that in half and used that to stuff into the seams of the couch along with it it really held everything in place and works. The cover doesn’t slide around and stayed in place with the noodle. For me it was a very decent purchase, I was really sick of using so many blankets to cover up my couch, now I can just use this one cover, so having just this one piece cover is very convenient for me. The only true complaint I have is I think the material should be a bit thicker, and if you spill liquid of course it goes right through, but it keeps dirt and crumbs off the original couch fabric. I have way less dog hair on the couch now as well so it is definitely protecting the original couch and looks way nicer than piles of blankets. 🙂
