I bought this item and was initially frustrated that it would't stick. Then, I read a review on simplehuman's website saying that the person bought cheap suction cups at Walmart, so I went out and bought cheap suction cups at Walmart. They still didn't stick to my stainless steel sink. Here's the trick... Put Vaseline on the suction cups, and then stick them to the sink. Works like glue!!! It's been up for 3 months now, no problems!
