I’ve been a Purell loyalist for YEARS. But given the current COVID situation, I needed to find an alternative. I ordered this Suave hand sanitizer, not knowing what to expect based on some of the neg reviews. Yes, I already knew that it had enough ethyl alcohol content to meet CDC guidelines. But someone complained it was like straight alcohol. Well, I got mine and am a happy camper! It does NOT have a strong alcohol smell. Plus, it comes from Unilever, a major manufacturer. So it’s not some fly-by-night company. And, the bottles were in what appeared to be a factory sealed box, so I’m not worried about possible tampering. The box says Made in USA, so that gave me added peace of mind. (According to the Unilever site, unless their products say otherwise, they are made in the US.) And, the box of 6 came in a plastic bag. One thing, though: I have to spray several times to get enough on my hands (reason I took off a star). Also, it has a relatively short shelf life (mine expire April 2021, so less than a year for me). But by then, maybe Purell will be available again, or I’ll just buy more of this stuff.
