I had a difficult time trying to decide which thing to buy to take my 14month 26lb son for bike rides with me. All the reviews I found were from Lance Armstrong parents. I am not about that 50 mile a day bike ride life. My bike rides range between 15 minutes to an hour if I'm feeling crazy. This seat was the best choice for me I think because I like to be able to actually see what my kid is doing because if I turned all the way around to look at him I'd most likely run into a parked car. With him right in front of me, no worries. He was super excited to be seeing things in the front I think. He was comfortable because he fell asleep and rested his head on the front padded thing. My husband is an engineer and said it took him an hour to put it together on the bike. Once on you wouldn't want to take it off. Put it on as far as you can towards the front though. I had to have him move it up because I am knocked kneed so that made it harder to pedal but I got a killer thigh workout in. I would recommend this product to everyone.
