I have a two door 2015 Mini Cooper S and a 28lb corgi. I needed some sort of car carrier for my dog for three reasons: his body is too long to lay down comfortably on the passenger seat (and it's awkward to get him into the backseat where he'd have no window access anyway), he is too short to stick his nose out the window, and I didn't want to risk him trying to crawl into my lap as he did once before in a car that had a larger front seat. This booster chair is the perfect solution! It fits the passenger seat just perfectly (any larger and I would not be able to close the door), was easy to assemble, and I've washed the cover and pillow multiple times and they have held up wonderfully. My dog enjoys sitting in it, and during long car rides, he curls up and sleeps in it comfortably. I've also used it to transport a chunkier 30lb senior corgi with no problem. I definitely recommend this product! I'm editing to add that I think there is a way to strap the seat belt through this carrier, or use the seat belt to strap this to the car seat, but I never figured out how. If anyone could tell me, that would be great! Lastly, my dog grew a bit bigger in weight, length, and girth, and he still fits comfortably in this car seat.
