Love Love Love this fountain!!! I bought this convinced I would be donating it shortly after setting it up because....cats. My kitties actually DRINK OUT OF THIS FOUNTAIN. We’ve tried a couple fountains in the past and either the cats weren’t interested or they were a pain to clean. This one is super easy to clean and almost silent (just a very soft hum from the pump), which I think sets this apart from fountains we’ve bought in the past. We change the water either every two days or daily and no slimy residue builds up. I’ve been unable to find replacement filters, but I might see if the CatIt filters fit - if not I’ll just make my own with supplies from an aquarium store. Edit 12/18/2017: I forgot to mention we initially set this up in the bathroom until they got used to it - and thankfully so. Odin decided it was a toy and splashed water all over the place. :) Did a full cleaning this weekend, including the pump. Super easy to clean all of the pieces, I recommend buying a set of silicone straw cleaners for cleaning the smaller parts. Edit 2: 01/19/2018 - I can confirm these filters fit perfectly in this fountain.
