The cup for my Cuisinart Food Processor cracked yet again and a replacement was around 40 bucks. I saw this and thought, "Why not?" Having used it for a few days, I can say it has a couple advantages over the Cuisinart: - Easier to assemble and use - the safety mechanism was a lot simpler to put together - The blade sits on a spindle, so it's easy to remove - there's no hole left in the middle of the cup like the Cuisinart - The price/performance - it works just as well and it's a LOT cheaper - There's a spout at the top for easy pouring, unlike the Cuisinart I don't know why food processors have to be so expensive - it's basically just a bowl with a blade - glad to find one that was sensibly priced. Cons: - The lid is not watertight, meaning that any liquids will leak out. The cup has a 12 cup capacity, though, so you may not run into this problem.
