First of all: I'm a guy and I have to say... Actually, let me start from the beginning: I bought this thing thinking it would be a nice extra blanket for the couch or for the lady friends to use to cuddle around the fire. When it came in the mail and I unwrapped it it was huge! I am 6' 0" and it easily covers me! Perfect... Next, I felt it and... oh my... Immediately my country boy, wood chopping, hair on my chest self just thought, "Yaaaaassss!". It is so soft and comfy and cuddly. This went from a large blanket that was going to be for others and used once in a while to my go to blanket used for cuddling on the couch and reading a good book. My guests can get their own blankets! This one is mine. My precious... With all that being said my dog liked it too much too and didn't want to share so... he had to go... Kidding, but he did end up using it to cover one of his chew toys and then preceded to chew a small hole through it. In short: buy this knowing you will begin wishing it is always winter... P.S. If you wash it once first you will get a good amount of fuzzies off of the blanket so that they aren't found all over. PS.S. Any one want a dog?
