So I bought this in April of 2015 when Revtronic was still Nitefighter. This light was getting rave reviews on the MTBR forums so I jumped when one of the forum members hooked me up with a $10 discount. It's a great and bright little light. Quality is top notch. With the two optics it comes with (one spot, one flood), you can choose how you want your light to work. Before this light I bought one of those MONSTER 7000 LUMEN 7X XML T6 (blah blah blah) cheap chinese lights and while they are OK for the money, I wanted something better. The BT40s comes very well packaged with a lot of nifty accessories. Alas, I didn't need to use the light for a while as I didn't have time to go night riding and it sat in its box for about 8 months. Fast forward to current time and I tried taking the light out on a night ride and what do I see, the battery pack refuses to charge. I try different chargers and no go. Fortunately I had an extra battery pack from the cheapo chinese light that I had and it worked fine. In my dismay, I still had a glimmer of hope that Revtronic would do me right. So I emailed them through Amazon and spoke to a rep about my situation. He told me to do a couple of things like try leaving it on the charger for about an hour, maybe the indicator light was messed up or something. So I tried it but to no avail. Right away he (rep's name was Jack) apologized for the battery pack and told me I should have kept it charged every 3 months or so. Nevertheless, he offered to BUY ME A NEW BATTERY PACK OF MY CHOOSING OVER AMAZON! I was dumbfounded! It was an order from almost a year ago and the company was still willing to provide wonderful customer service. I had read on some forums that Kaidomain sells some good quality battery packs so I asked him if he could buy me one of those. Since he couldn't really buy it for me as it wasn't off Amazon, he offered me a REFUND OF THE COST OF THE BATTERY PACK ON KAIDOMAIN!!! Once again, I was speechless. This is the reason why I leave a 5-star review even when the battery pack failed. Great light, great company, great customer service. Thanks again, Jack.
