My dad is really into growing exotic vegetables, such as black bell peppers and purple spinach, so I knew this funky vegetable kit would be the perfect Father's Day gift. He was really happy when he got it and couldn't wait to plant them. His garden is pretty full so he's starting with the purple carrots for now. I'll update my review once they grow (if they grow). Update (8/11/16): It's been about two months and my dad said the carrots are growing fine so far. I've included a couple of pictures of them sprouting. I'm updating my rating from 4 to 5 stars since this kit appears to be legit. My dad loves it. Update (9/28/16): The purple carrots are ready to harvest, which he ate with his dinner. He said they were actually sweeter than regular carrots. My dad also planted the chard, which are also growing great. I've included more pictures. He's yet to plant the other vegetables, but I'll update if he does. Overall, this kit has turned out to be a great gift for sure.
