The shed is plastic, but for my needs - I needed to be able to put it together myself in a day or two, and I needed to be able to move it once I decided where I wanted it without having to rent a lift or something, and i wanted something that was not expensive but still roomy, and i wanted something delivered to my door - it's perfect! We used it for a duck coop while they were transitioning outside, and the plastic floors were AWESOME! and now that they are out, we will probably transition it to a storage shed for the mower or yard tools, however we will probably put wood down on the floors if we put the riding mower in... It is very light when empty so there were a few windy days I worried but once we got our stuff in it's perfect.I don't worry at all anymore. I put it together (40 ish old woman) with my daughter (3 years old) and only needed help with putting the roof up on top - it would have been LOADS easier with two adults but its due-able if you are handy and persistent. For the price (under $500 i think) its worth it in a pinch! long term solution?? not sure yet but its been a few months and it still working great.
