Be careful. Be very, very carefull
So, I figured that since the RDA for potassium is 4700 mg, it would be perfectly fine to take 850 mg of KCL at once (especially since KCL is only a little over half potassium by weight, so 850 mg of KCL is only about 450mg of potassium, or about a banana).
VERY BAD IDEA!!!
Stomach aches and headaches and nausea bad idea.
I read somewhere that if your body is not used to taking in potassium in this pure a form, it may take a while to acclimate to it, so one should take it in tiny amounts and build up. I completely forgot about that until now.
I just got this stuff in the mail today, and am currently writing this review/warning through all the stomach aches, headaches, and nausea so that no one else may make the same mistake I had.
5 stars, though. Clearly, this stuff works.
