I have used the Amazing Herbs brand of Black Seed Oil (BSO) and compared to Kiva BSO it tastes like a combination of heavy motor oil and turpentine. While all BSO will test your taste buds, Kiva is lighter, clearer and has a taste that is smooth and mild. I had to force myself to ingest the Amazing Herbs but Kiva is a pleasure to drink. I appreciate that it is Organic,Vegan, Kosher and the seeds are high quality and of Turkish origin. It is supplied in a tinted glass bottle to protect it from light and to keep chemicals from leeching into it from a plastic container. Amazing Herbs is supplied in a plastic bottle. If you are bothered by inflammation, try rubbing Kiva BSO directly on the inflamed painful area and watch the pain melt away. I recently had an episode of back and right hip pain. While I may seek an evaluation from my physician; in the meantime I rubbed Kiva BSO directly on the affected area and after about 10 minutes the pain resolved. Also, for years I have suffered with seborrheic dermatitis which creates and itchy scalp. Medicated shampoos and prescribed creams have helped somewhat but after a few applications of Kiva BSO, thankfully the itching and need to scratch my scalp are dissipating. So when it comes to Black Seed Oil, Kiva is the best option for me.
