It is an inexpensive phone and it isn't cordless. No battery to worry about dying during the middle of a call. With out cell phone coverage at the house, we have to have a landline. This phone works well, even though the photo isn't an exact view of the phone (the red and yellow buttons are actually black on the one I received) there haven't been any issues with it. The family doesn't like it because now they have to get up to go answer the phone instead of keeping a cordless one within reach. Me? I like it.....it works when I need it.
