Guess I'll go first... over all a great value short of life jackets, whistles, and a light it's got everything you need. I bought this to paddle with my 6yo who unfortunately is growing up and no longer wants to sit in front of me in our $500 Pelicans. As novice paddlers worked great for us, just as stable and efficient as our sit ins. It is a little wider though. The paddles that came with stood up well. I'm 6ft and they are a bit short for me. We took it out in a lite chop with 10-15knt winds and it responded as well as our rec kayaks with the larger fin in place. The rod holders point inward which is slightly awkward. I do wish there was a strip of additional thick bumper along the sides where the paddle contacts, I can see wear being an issue eventually. We've borrowed an intex 4 person mariner before which held up just as well. The cross bar for the mounting items is positioned in an awkward spot while set up for two people but is in a good position if set up for one person. Inflates quickly with the hand pump really no need for a battery inflator. Also the gauge that comes with I nice for eliminating the "is that enough air?" Question. The whole kit fits nicely in the storage bag which can fit in about any car trunk. Would definitely purchase again. Remember to have a float plan and have contact info on it.
