Selected after much research to a fit a Kohler elongated toilet (K-3593). Had a couple of questions before purchase and the customer service was excellent. The lid covers the toilet opening from front to back and overhangs the front of the bowl just enough to comfortably lift the lid without touching the toilet bowl. It was not easy to find a lid that would do this (based on published dimensions). The fit on the Kohler isn't quite perfect as it's a little narrower than the bowl towards the upper middle (about 3/8" on each side) and then a little wider than the bowl at the back (see photos). The quick release mechanism works great. The push of a single button on the back and the seat lifts right off. It's easy to set it back down on the pins to reattach. The seat is comfortable and doesn't slide around. After a month of heavy use (lots of guests) it hasn't moved. If I sit my 200lbs on the top (lid closed), I can feel a little flex but it holds by weight fine.
