I finally got sick of my toilet seat sliding around under me. I like excitement, just not while I’m in the bathroom. So I took the plunge and spent some money on a good seat. My first surprise came when I got home and found it installed. My wife, who is not handy at all, had no trouble installing it. If she can, you can. And it hasn’t given us any trouble since. The rubber feet mean no sliding on the porcelain, and my bathroom times are now entirely predictable. The slow-close lid has relieved me of one more task; I think this is what it’s like to be rich.
