I got a little teary during the intro... seeing three mates back together in Mustangs across the landscape. "Bright sun-shiny day," indeed. As a long time viewer of the old TG, I was sad to see the over the top reintroduction of the new group. I missed "the boys". But once I saw the Gran Tour trailer, I signed up for Prime that very day. I just watched S01E01 and I'm still grinning. Gonna go back and watch it again. It's the small comments that make be cackle and howl with laughter so much but the camera work and production is just as impressive as OTG (Old Top Gear). I found the EbolaDrome. Wasn't hard to find, I wonder what else gets driven around there... Anyway, superb work lads, Well Done Amazon and I look forward to "many, many new adventures". RIP Jeremy Renner. Having now watched the entire first season I can say there were some teething pains and they have killled quite a number of celebrities however the later episodes show the polish of a team who figured out what worked and got rid of what did not. Of the season, the episode I most watch has to be "Opera, Art and Doughnuts" and every. single. time. I end up laughing. You know the pitch had to be, "Well what if a thick headed American were to go on a Grand Tour of Italy?" Still excellent work lads and Amazon, you better keep them happy.
