Dude. WOW. So let me begin by saying this: my dog is an a$$hole. He doesn't listen to anything I say regardless of how many hours I spend trying that positive hippie reinforcement stuff. Yesterday he escaped off his leash and took me on a 45 minute chase, which almost got him (and me) hit by 2 cars. I finally got him, but not before slipping in a puddle of mud. When I got back to the house I ordered this shock collar and had it overnighted to my house. As soon as it came in I put it on him and took him for a walk. I let him off the leash, and sure enough he took off. First I sent him a vibration, he stopped, turned around, then continued running away. I shocked him at level 20 immediately following. He jumped up, cried, and ran back to me. For the rest of the walk he stayed by my side without the use of his leash. This is well worth the money and is a method for IMMEDIATE corrective action with great results. Before you use this on your animal, I suggest using it on yourself first (which is what I did) this will give you a feel for what level you should set it at. Level 100 is way too harsh and I wouldn't reccomend that for any dog of any size. For my dog, who weighs 60lbs, I felt as if level 20 was a good middle ground.
