Hi Ladies! I'm a Man who bought this purse organizer to line and reinforce a canvas messenger bag I carry. I hope you gals don't mind my intrusion-but here it goes! The reviews said this liner was "rigid" and I disagree. I guess rigidity is a matter of opinion. Yes it does stand up on its own but it will not stiffen a soft sided messenger bag. For that I had to cut some thick cardboard to size and inserted it to line the main compartment. I just wish the organizer was 4 inches longer. But the cardboard worked fine so all is well .
