Be sure and watch the video I posted. I love this machine. I have had several in the past but this one is so much improved it makes it easier to package food. I like the extra width so I can use bigger bags. The roll of bags stores in the machine is really handy. The cutter that is in the machine makes life easier because one of the things I did not like with the other machines is having to unroll the bags and then try to cut them straight across. I was never good at doing this. I just pull out enough of the plastic to place over the heating strip and then seal it. I then pull out the amount of the sealer bag that I need and use the built in cutter to cut to the proper size. I fill the bag and then set the vacuum and sealer, push down on the handle to lock, which is much easier to do than pushing down on both ends of the machine to lock. I then push on the proper buttons and in a few seconds I am done. It is very easy to clean and the storage area for the cord works as needed. I forgot to mention that the vacuum tube is stored securely in the machine. Some of the other machines that I have used in the past I have had to store the vacuum tube elsewhere where I could never find it, so this is a real plus.
