Crud Warranty on a Fabulous, Inexpensive Mattress
We unwrapped and released this mattress onto our existing Queen box spring and didn't touch it for a week. We let it fluff back up and reform. It was brilliantly packaged and made for easy delivery and relocation! Once fluffed up, this was seriously an incredible mattress. So comfortable. I had a foam mattress years ago, and it broke apart and deteriorated, so I have since moved to pillow tops, but this is a brilliant mattress. I am not sure if it would hold up over time, and I will update if it turns into a nightmare, but for now, we absolutely love it. So comfortable. And supportive but cushiony at the same time. The warranty is like many mattresses- here is an affordable mattress, but ooops! If you don't buy our frame and box spring, the warranty is null and void. That is just part of the mattress racket. The difference here is you are starting with a mattress that is under $300. I just recently hunted for a new mattress, and the cheapest foam we found was around $2000. For $300? I will totally overlook a shady warranty, because if it doesn't hold up I can just replace the sucker and get a new one and STILL have saved myself money! While I think the warranty racket for mattress companies is a bunch of malarkey, it is common practice and sadly unavoidable. The important question is how sleepable is this mattress? The answer... I never want to get up in the morning. Seriously. Brilliant.
