I love the view-ability of these enclosures.
If you are looking for a better way too display your display animals (like insects or arachnids), prettier setups, and easier viewing, you should really enjoy these bubbles. I have usually just used kritter keepers as an inexpensive way to house my tarantulas, but i have always found them to look a bit on the ugly side, and it is difficult to make them actually look nice while meeting burrower's or other needs. And then sure, there are glass enclosures, but even the tiny ones you're still looking at ~20 or so dollars, unless you get a 10 gallon, but those things tend to be bigger than a tarantula's needs and really tax available space for any size collection. After putting in a few of my animals, I'm already 100x more happy with this setup than any other setup I've used, esp. for my display animals like my tarantulas. Im not blocked by a dumb lid or corners, and can see my 8 legged beauties in all their glory! And, this viewing would apply to any animal placed inside. Here's a list of the pros and cons one is likely to run into immediately upon taking the bubble out and setting them up: Pros: Excellent viewing. I got these for my tarantulas, and they offer unparalleled viewing to them. They are easily decorated yet also offer a wide range of decorative options. They are a good size for most any insect(s), arachnid, small to medium sized frogs, snakes, lizards, etc. I've even temporarily housed my baby ball python in one-he's got more than enough room to stretch fully out, burrow, explore, etc. The bases have a material that prevents sliding. If they fall on the floor, depending on what was inside the container, it will probably survive the fall unlike many glass containers. If you are worried about it breaking, just don't put anything huge and heavy in them. Cons: Although they are pretty sturdy, they still have some fragile components - the locking mechanism. If you try to close it and use too much force after the lid has already locked in place, there is a possibility of damaging that mechanism. But, honestly, i only ran into that issue with my "used-good" condition wonder bubble. If you look at my pictures, you'll see a cap of varying colors on top of all my bubbles.this lid allows ventilation, but it slides on and off. As such, to ensure my snake could not pop the cap off, i felt it prudent to put tape to better secure the cap to the top of the bubble. But, that's just for a snake. I don't see a tarantula or similar creature being able to push the cap off - it is a snug fit. But, those are so far my two biggest issues right now. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with them, esp. Because they were on sale! I've uploaded pictures to show the current setups, the little burrow i made for my snake and the tarantula. I'm still waiting on some items to arrive from amazon so that i can finish decorating all the cages, but even so,they look nice, even the two empty ones (the two middle ones currently have no animal in them).
