I bought three bags of this natural color kinetic sand a month ago. I found it has heavier texture compared to colored sand, because it uses actual sand instead of synthetic particles(colored). I personally had a lot more fun with colored sand since it has snow flake like light texture that's easier to cut and separate the clumps. So today, I bought two bags of purple sand to mix with the natural colored sand and I found an interesting fact. Not just the texture, the real sand weighs more. Which means with the same amount of 2lbs bags of sand, you will get more volume and nicer texture with colored sand. Because the purple one is more fluffy, it looks even larger on sand table ( I pushed hard to fit both types of sand in the shot glass. I felt like I'm putting more sand with purple).
