This mat works great. After reading about other people having issues with the grease accumulating on it and the recommendation was to use paper towels to soak it up during the grilling, I thought to myself that there has to be another solution to this problem. I decided to take a utility knife and cut randomly open slots on it (see photo). I am pleased to say that it was the solution to this problem. My food came out perfectly and I had no problems with the grease issue. I grilled chicken which is well known for flare ups, which I had none. The meat slid right off the mat and clean up was a breeze. The company that makes these probably should consider putting small holes throughout their mats.
