It's a really pretty dress but unfortunately it's going back. I'm 5'9" and about 210 lbs. I'm generally a size L tops and 16 bottoms. I went with a size XL from what I read in the comments. The dress fit really nicely. The empire waist had very little give but it sinched well. The material was fairly heavy and seemed pretty good quality. I got the navy but i would say it looked more gray/royal blue. Unfortunately I'm returning it because it is not a maxi for my height. It hit awkwardly about 3 to 4 inches above my ankle. I would still recommend this dress for anyone maybe 5'7" and below but definitely not for us tall girls.
