I am a first time Mom and I was told I didn't need a video monitor but they seemed so helpful so I did a TON of research for weeks and found the Infant Optics DXR-8 and thought it was the best fit for my needs. This monitor is absolutely AMAZING! Soon after buying it I quickly ordered an extra camera for my daughters room(the original camera is in our room) and I am finally writing a review after just purchasing my 3rd camera! I need all parents to know how amazing this thing is! My daughter is silent when she wakes up and is on the go instantly, so I am thrilled I got this camera over the traditional sound only monitor. I also like the 2-way microphone a lot, my daughter is always confused when I tell her "No" when she gets busted being naughty lol The picture is impressively clear in day/night mode! You can zoom and I also just ordered the wide angle lens which I should have done ASAP, it's so nice not having to scroll when she runs across the room every 2 seconds. I take it with me easily when we travel too. My review in a nut shell is buy this camera and the wide angle lens(sold seperately) you will not regret it! And thank you Infant Optics for an amazing product! *Camera pictured has the wide angle lens on
