Kind of magical
I just used this stuff for the first time and I'm honestly blown away - far exceeded my expectations!! I live in Ohio and my car had about 2 weeks worth of road salt and dried disgusting wintery weather mess all over it (my usually beautiful blue Tesla was largely dirty white). I've been looking for a good way to clean the car since I don't like going through car washes and it's literally freezing outside. I had heard about ONR for a while and had been debating buying it, and I'm glad I finally did! I mixed up 1 oz (2 capfuls) of the ONR with about 2 gallons of water, as instructed. I typically use a 2-bucket wash system, but decided to see how the one bucket method that they recommend would work. Figured I can always buff it out if it scratched the paint. I made a pass or two over each section of the car, one panel at a time, with a microfiber mitt, and dried with a waffle weave microfiber towel. It was almost painful inside to do this, because it doesn't seem like it should work and I thought there was no way that running the mitt with some solution over otherwise dried on road salt would not scratch the paint. But miraculously, when I dried the first panel, it was completely clean, the drying cloth never looked dirty, and I can't detect any swirl marks. As a bonus, the stuff actually smells pretty good and my hands now feel soft. I don't know how this works. It shouldn't work. It's some sort of voodoo. But, my very recently filthy car is now sitting in the garage, about as clean as it has ever been, after using 1 bucket, 2 gallons of water, and with absolutely no rinsing. Mind...Blown! To sum it all up: - This stuff works. 2 capfuls, 2 gallons of water and some microfiber towels are all you need - 2 bucket system not necessary. The dirt from the wash media just sinks to the bottom of the bucket. - pre-washing not necessary, even if the car is pretty filthy - seriously, no rinsing and no hose necessary - one 32 oz bottle should give you 32 washes! - there is some Harry Potter level magic happening here
