I have 3 kids under the age of 4. The youngest is 7 months & just started pulling at his ears. He had a fever last week so I took him to the doctor thinking he had an ear infection. Nope. Nothing. So, I wanted to get an otoscope to save me dragging 3 kids to the doc all the time for nothing. My oldest is very good about me looking in his ears, so I thought I'd give it a trial on him. I was shocked!!! His tubes were out, but lodged into about a pound of wax!! He had his tubes put in over 2.5 years ago. My doc said the tubes would fall out in about a year. So who knows how long it had been like this!! I was able to use this to get the wax & tubes out. He immediately started hugging me & saying thank you! He said he could hear better & was so happy I got the "yucky" out of his ears. I am able to see everyones ears now & can tell the difference between infected and normal. It was well worth every penny!
