My only complaint with this device is with the instructions that came with it. After following the instructions to the letter several times, I still could not get the device to work with my garage door opener. Fortunately, customer service at Liftmaster was very helpful and explained that the process to program the keypad with the garage door depends on the color of the learn switch. In my case, I have a green button, which means I have to press the "Enter" button four times aftering entering the code and not once as indicated in the instructions. Problem solved, but it would have saved me some time and frustration had those little details been included. Installation was a snap. I also appreciate having a 9-volt battery which should last longer than the smaller battery that came with my old keypad. UPDATE: Yellow learn button - 1 Purple learn button - 2 Red/Orange learn button - 3 Green learn button - 4 1. Press the * and the # keys until the keypad stops flashing. 2. Press and release the learn button on the motor unit 3. Enter a 4 digit PIN number 4. Press and release the enter button ___ times, as indicated above. 5. Press the 0 key to complete the programming. 6. To test, press the PIN number and the Enter key
