Extended Cargo basket on Mini Cooper Clubman. Keeping the rust out
The rack is pretty decent. After reading the reviews I was hesitant to purchase due to the concerns of rusting and workmanship. My assessment is this. The workmanship good, but issues like screw hole misalignment and inconsistencies in the powdercoating are concerning and need improvement. Knowing this I ordered 3:1 heatshrink tubing with adheasive for the joints to keep water out of the tube seam joints. See photo for detail. Over all its a sturdy rack and a good value compared to Yakima etc..
