Everyone I know, knows how I am when I find something I like...I tell the world. I try to convince everyone I know how great it is, whatever that may be....and Penetrex is no exception. I love this stuff. I have suffered with chronic pain for 33 years. That is no exaggeration. It all began when I was 27 and after 2 years of suffering, I was finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia... something that was not well known by doctors back then. Then about 20 years ago I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. About that same time, I began experiencing soft-tissue foot pain (tendinitis & plantar fasciitis) and it has gotten worse over the years, and now it has morphed into tendinosis. Lately, now that I am 59, I have been experiencing worsening symptoms of all these issues due to aging. To make a long story short, I have searched for all these 33 years for something to help with all my different kinds of pain. My docs give me pain meds, but even they don't always control my pain. I wish I could say I have found the "magic bullet" that would make all my pain disappear, but I can't do that. However, I have found a few things that make my daily journey a little easier. One of those things is Penetrex. This stuff really does help, even if only temporarily. It helps with fibromyalgia, it helps with osteo, and it even helps with my excruciating tendinosis foot pain. I rub it in, and within minutes, sometimes almost immediately, my pain subsides. I like to use it at bedtime because the pain relief helps me sleep. It doesn't last 24 hours a day, but it does last a good while. You can use it often throughout the day. It has no nasty smell. I like the consistency of it, it is not too thick or too thin. It is a tad greasy, which is my only complaint. But when you are in a lot of pain, you can overlook some things. Overall, I highly recommend this product to those who suffer from mild to moderate, even some severe pain. It may not help everyone, but I was really surprised at how quickly it helped me and how effective it is on even my worst pain. I know it's expensive, but how can you put a price tag on pain relief, even if its only temporary? I would say, try one jar and just see what happens.
