The fit: there is a meshy band (like heavy duty pantyhose) across the belly that completely eradicates my "Mommy" tummy. I have a little pooch, loose jiggle, and sometimes it buldges if the waist line pinches. The waist band on these secures and FIRMS my entire waist - no jiggles or buldges. Then there's my rear, which isn't so perky anymore. These grab my cheeks and pull them up - my butt isnt flat in these. My inner thighs are smoothed out, and cellulite is hidden everywhere. The fabric: they feel high quality, well made. Soft, but durable like a denim/canvas - and they stretch and give when I bend/move without loosing shape or stretching out of shape when I srand back up. I wore these to 3 childrens birthdays in one day and still felt so confident in them to rock to a friends party that night. Size: I am 5"11, 160, bought the black long in a size 10 and they fit great. ps - the long still barely hits my ankle bone, but at least thats better than capri length. These pants are magical and I am SSOO bummed the other colors are out of stock. I did order their recommended similar jeans (skinny, signature, totally shaping) but they zip - dont have waist band and dont lift my rear the same.
