This is a very small hand-held radio. I would say it's a bit larger than a deck of cards. I bought this for AM reception, and if you use the tuning wheel very slowly, you can lock in your station. For a DSP-style radio, it can be a bit poppy but is reduced if you rotate the radio for better AM reception. It is loud. For the price, it can't be beat! Great for putting under a pillow and listening to Coast-To-Coast. :-D
