I only drink almond milk and I ordered this when I saw it come up browsing the internet one day. I had never heard of nut base before. I like the idea that it is only almonds with no fillers or anything else and that is has more of the nutrition and good fats than regular refrigerated almond milk has. It does separate just like natural nut butters and needs to be stirred before measuring and using it. I mix it in my ninja blender cup and it works great. It always mixes smooth with no lumps. It tastes like almonds and works great in my coffee and smoothies. The only thing I don't really like is the container that it comes in. The lid has to be pushed down hard to close it tightly and there always seems to be oil leaking out of the edge. I do really like this product and will probably purchase it again. It's not as convenient as refrigerated almond milk, but I do think it's healthier and the fact that the base doesn't need to be refrigerated is great. 8/12 I'm updating my review to 3 stars instead of 4 because I really don't like the container it is in. I lifted it up after not using it for a week or so and there was a large ring of oil all over where it was sitting and the container was very oily. I'm hoping it didn't ruin the toaster oven. This needs a jar with a screw lid to keep all the oil in. It's a great product, but the container needs rethinking. 10/9 Updating my review back up. The company reached out to me about the lid issue and sent me a new container with a new screw on lid to try out. It's perfect and no more leaking. Plus customer service is excellent. The only negative that I've seen is the new container is one ounce less than the old one, but I'm assuming this is because of the cost of the new lid and container design and it won't stop me from purchasing it. Overall I'm very happy with this product.
