I want to start off by saying I have reviewed many products before. I review products like tablets, tablet cases, screen protectors, phones, ect. What I am trying to say is that I feel like I have a good idea on whats a good case for the right amount of money. This smart shell case is a great buy for the money. Dont listen to the haters who complain over the small things, listen to somebody who knows what they are talking about and who has had there fair share of cases. Read below to find out why I like this case, what I dont like, and if its worth your money. 1. My likes (A) I have had many case before like snap on cases, otterbox (my personal favorite) lifeproof, and many others. One thing I really like about this that most others dont have is the ability to turn your iPad off when you close the flap and to turn it back on when you remove the flap. I think this is convenient because it saves time. (B) I also like this case because its EASY to put on. All you do is slide one side in, push the other side down **snap** and its in. No need to install a second or third layer and this case dont add much weight. Dont get me wrong I love otterbox but to be honest its kinda nice not having to add to much more weight just to receive more protection. (C) I love how this case feels. It dont feel cheap at all, its nice and smooth on the back but easy to hold without it slipping out of your hand. The front part of the case (the flap) feels nice to without loosing grip of your device. On the inside the flap has a nice soft material that protects the screen, it also cleans the screen from smudges to. (D) I like how this case looks. It looks sleek and sexy and offers decent protection.This case also has all the cut outs for everything like the audio jack, speakers, back facing camera, volume buttons, and power button. I would say if you were to drop your iPad with this case on about a foot high on concrete you should be fine. I have not tested this out (and dont want to lol) but I feel like this case would have a decent chance of protecting your iDevice. 2. My dislikes ): (A) The back of this case receives smudges to easy. I have had this case for about a week and I can tell you its a magnet for smudges. I also dont like how it offer no protection for the buttons. When compared to Apples smart case this one misses out on button protection. Its not a big deal to me just thought I would point it out. (B) All the bad reviews. Honestly I was a little worried because of what people were saying. Things like how it breaks after two months or how the magnets dont wake your device up, or how it dont fit the iPad mini 4, the list goes on. Well Im happy to say most of those bad reviews are wrong. It fits my mini 4 perfectly, the magnets work like they are suppose to and as for the longevity of the product I cant say. 3. Should you buy this product or not? Long story short yes! I think for the $10.00 - $12.00 you will spend on this case its worth it. It works like its suppose to, the case itself feels amazing (hard to believe it only cost $10.00) and it offers more functionality to your device. With this case MoKo has done a ton of right things and honestly not sure how they can make it better. You cant beat the price here! Apple charges about $100.00 for there smart case (back cover and front cover). That to me is insane! So if you are somebody who likes the smart cover idea but dont like Apples price this case will do you wonders. If anyone has any questions or comments please feel free to leave them down below. (: ****UPDATE 7/22/17++++ So I have had this case for about 5 months now and wow am I impressed! This case has never cracked, never received any tears or any other major cosmetic defect. I am blown away and also by the fact that this case has protected my precious iPad mini from a tragic fall (no it did not need life alert LOL). It took place out side in my drive way. Me and my girlfriend were getting ready to visit her aunt and uncle which live about a hour away. I put most of my things I needed in the car, then grabbed my iPad mini but ended tripping over my jack Russell dog named Bella, my iPad slipped out of my hands as my iPad mini saw its life flash before its camera. Next thing I heard was a hard **clunk!** my iPad on the hard unforgiving pavement facing down. I thought it was done for, as a small tear came from my eye and my blood pressure rose with anger, I picked up my iPad mini only to find out no damage was done. Yes you read that right, no damage whatsoever had been inflicted on my iPad!! The case did receive some scratches on the corner but thats it, no cracks or any major defects. I am so happy with this product, I can honestly say that MoKo has received a loyal customer. Not only did this case protect my $600.00 investment but it only cost me $10.00 new! So I saved about $90.00 and protected my mini iPad, I couldn't be happier. I am not sure what everybody thinks but I do want to make this clear. I did NOT receive the product at a discount, I paid full price (about $10.00) and I DONT work for this company or any other case company, I work at a grocery store so in other words everything I have said I do mean, if this product was a crap product I would make sure to let everybody know but this is NOT a crap product and is well worth the money(: When this case breaks later on (just like anything else) I will make sure to buy another case just like this from the same company. Thank you so much MoKo for making a product thats not only about 90% cheaper than Apples option but also making a good quality long lasting product. I cant thank you enough!
