I downloaded this game with reservations. I fully expected to uninstall it right away. Boy was I wrong! This game is addicting! You build your own shelter with materials that you gather. Fight zombies and other survivors that want to steal your resources. Travel to different areas on the map to gather resources. There are forests, limestone cliffs, a motel, gas station and many other places to visit. It is a challenge to get started until you get a feel for the game ,and gather some resources to craft stuff with such as weapons and tools. There is so much that you can do and build and scavenge you can easily devote hours to it. I have just begun but already I have a huge shelter crammed full of supplies and tools. At first it was pretty scary going out and fighting the zombies. Now I fear nothing, at least in the easy areas. I usually kill everyone and everything in the area and load myself down with stuff. The different areas are color coded to show difficulty levels. The red zones are still scary. I highly recommend this game. But be warned; there is lots of blood sand flying body parts. Heads rolling and such. It doesn’t bother me but my wife was disturbed by it.
