I normally don't write long reviews but when Amazon asked me to do one for this product, I had to because these tablets have changed my life. I've been dealing with this condition for 11 years now. My doctor told me in order to prevent flare-ups, avoid foods rich in Arginine and take Lysine supplements. The one, I've been taking all this time, was Lysine 500mg by Spring Valley. Everything would be fine as long as I avoided nuts and berries (foods that were high in arginine that would cause a flare-up the next morning). If I broke protocol, the Spring Valley supplement would NOT work. I had to go to the doctor for meds . I thought this was my life just live with it. Then I discovered Quantum Health Super Lysine a few months ago. I only got it because the store was sold out of the brand I normally use. When I tell you LIFE CHANGER!!!! I haven't had a flare-up since. I decided to test it and I indulged in berries and nuts which is absolute no-no for me. NOTHING. Not even a hint of a flare up. I can't tell you how happy I am with this product. I'm sitting here crying as I write it because cutting Arginine out of my diet, completely, had caused circulation problems for me. I feel so much better now and I'm also snacking on a can of peanuts with no fear. Thank you God for this
