Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Ok so I'm going to start off by saying before I purchased this tree, (which is the first one I've ever bought other than a floor to ceiling pole with 4 platforms), I searched Amazon for days comparing, reading reviews, just looking for the "perfect" tree for my furry children. So I'm going to make this as helpful as what I myself was searching for. To start, my 2 cats are 12 and 14lbs. One is a "random psycho tree scaler" and the others more of a couch potato (even though he has his moments.) This tree suits them both wonderfully. The tree is sturdy. There's no tipping it over unless your cat weighs like 30 lbs. There's a tiny bit of wobble action when a cat flies up it like a maniac but that's expected. I did stack four 7.5 weights on the bottom towards the back, just to keep it completely still. I also turned the perches a way that the majority of the weight is more towards the center of the tree, easing stress on the posts when the fly up it. (Not necessary but like I said my cats a maniac.) One of the things I was most worried about while searching the Internet was my bigger cat fitting in the box and on the perches. No problem. Has plenty of room and spends most of his time sleeping in the condo. The tree took me and my fiancé about an hour to assemble but we took our time and of course the cats were in the way the whole time. The material is soft, has very minor shedding, claws can grab it just fine, and it looks great in the house. (Got mine in ivory, very pretty.) Another thing I was worried about was quality. I wanted it to last. The tree is very well made. I inspected it thoroughly and no problems at all. My cats use every part of it. If you have a cat who doesn't care much to claw its way up it's designed in a way that they could use it like stairs to get up. I re-tightened all the screws and posts a day after it was up and it's been fine ever since. Everything was accounted for when it arrived, box undamaged, but 60lbs so some people may have issues with that. The entire process was, and is continuing to be very pleasing. I hope this helps anyone, it's what I wished someone would have wrote when I was reading hundreds of reviews :)
