I read all the previous reviews and do not agree with the negative posts, these are overall great chairs. Pros: Solid. Sturdy. High quality. Good Looking. Cons: Heavy and Unwieldy. The fold up and extend mechanism is a bit awkward, but really it's fine. In summary, these are not your average folding chairs. They are much closer to permanent chairs, so don't expect them to be easily carried or stored. I included a picture of my 2 chairs stacked together, fitting into a space next to my china cabinet. The full width of the space you see is around 14" inches. One single chair can take up as much as 9" inches width alone, but then each additional chair only takes up 5" additional inches as they do "spoon" together nicely to save the extra inches. Any more than 2 chairs together will take significant space!
