I was looking for some cotton shorts for an upcoming cruise that would be cooling and long enough for my legs. I am 5'10" size 12/14 with a 34" inseam. At first I bought an XL thinking that the shorts ran small, but found out this wasn't the case and ordered a L as well. (I'll be returning the XL). In side by side photo, XL on left and L on right. Second photo, L on top and XL on bottom. The L sported small leg openings than the XL, by a significant amount and look way better for it. Obviously the L fit me way better, but where a tad shorter. I had also ordered the Hanes Jersey 10" shorts, but they gave me an odd cameltoe and moved up my legs to the crotch when trying walking two steps. I really like these bermuda shorts and plan on buying more colors in the future :)
