I waited a while before I reviewed this mattress because I wanted to see exactly how I've slept on it and gotten comfortable with it. So... Here we go! SETUP: The bed itself takes a few days (A FEW DAYS, not hours, not minutes... Be patient) to open up, air out and settle down. I opened it up and let it sit for a while with an open window because it does have that chemical smell, but hey... It is shipped so creatively and y'all just need to deal with it. Be a little patient and you'll be fine. It's worth it. COMFORT: I know the details above say the bed is a "medium/plush" feel, but it's definitely more of a medium feel. I actually ended up getting a deep pocket cushion-thing to put under the shirt and it helped it a lot. I don't like my bed to feel too soft because I know it's not good for your body, but I also don't want it to feel too firm, because that's not comfortable at all. The bed sits right in the middle of "plush" and "medium." It's a happy medium and I really like it. I have slept like a baby since I got the bed, but my girlfriend's bed is made of clouds and marshmallows so I had to get the plush cover to go under the sheet because she was having a hard time sleeping when she slept over from time to time. Compromise, right? PRACTICALITY: This bed is just fine by itself. You don't need a box spring or anything. I ended up getting a bed frame to go with it, but only because I needed the storage space underneath. It's a pretty tall bed (once it airs up), and I'm 6 feet tall and it's perfect for me. OVERALL: I really really like this bed, for the price. Just know, that there are "plushier" beds out there, but there are also "firmer" beds out there. This mattress sits right in the middle of "plush" and "medium" and that's why I gave it 4-stars because the info is a little bit misleading. If there was a 4.5/5, I would actually pick that. Seriously though.. If you're on a budget, but want a quality mattress... Buy this.
