I generally wait to live with something before writing a review. I've had this long enough to take it on 4 or 5 short trips and it works very well for that. It's ideal for 2-4 day trips at least with winter weight clothes. You could probably get enough summer weight clothes in it for a week long trip. The only reason I dropped it a star is I wish the end compartments were a couple inches taller. I can't quite get a pair of (men's size 11) shoes in them. If they're soft shoes (sneakers, slippers, etc.) I can squish them and get the compartment zipped. Can't do that with dress shoes. I don't like having shoes in the main compartment but that's personal preference. The leather is very attractive and feels very supple yet substantial. The duffel came in a very attractive tapestry bag. My wife stuffed the tapestry bag, sewed the end shut and turned it into a rather nice throw pillow so bonus.
